I personally could have easily pirated AOE2, but instead I bought it twice (no wait, three times, I also bought it as a gift for my brother) Something else is going on. However, I do not think that the right way to deal with their needs is to take complete control over the internet (which is what a piracy-free internet would look like).įurthermore, copying is often said to have a severe negative impact on the income of those who provide the content. I am myself a developer, so I sympathize with those who put a lot of their time and effort into their content. 100 people seperatly thinking it doesn't matter can add up to about a weeks pay for 3-6 employees (who are probably salaried and working lots of overtime). When a large amount of people think it doesn't matter, it actually matters. The thought process of "how is one $60/$30/$10 purchase going to change someones life" is the same as people who don't vote because it doesn't matter. The law is always behind what we as a society consider good/bad. That's billions of dollars just sitting on the table. There is no way corporations are going to let politicians and bureaucrats control the internet. Sooner than later, Net Neutrality will all but exist. It has only been a matter of time before corporations actually realized it's significance and value. The reason capitalism "doesn't work well" is because the FCC protects that. How does this work?ĭoes this hack work by making the server somehow believe its changes are true? I dont think it is exactly a server integrity check. And if it sees that all these values somehow dont match, then the game desynchronizes and crashes. Basically the game plays for a few seconds sometimes even a minute but then it crashes.įrom what i have read online this is due to the fact that the server is simply taking values from all players. And any value that i change it makes the game go out of sync. But i never use it, because i like to win or lose.īut still it boggles my mind how this works. I know that it is possible because i have in my possession an hack that works and bypasses that. Im asking if this is possible and how is this possible? And in general what is the process or what are the materials that are needed for that? ![]()
